Adding SQL Server as a data source to OBIEE on 64 bit Linux 11g

Integration of  OBIEE11g with SQL Server on linux.

1)      Go to  OBIEE path  like

Ex: /u01/ORACLEFMW/instances/instance1/bifoundation/OracleBIApplication/coreapplication/setup

2)      Edit odbc.ini file  and add the below lines.

SHAREPOINTDB = MICROSOFT SQL SERVER DRIVER

[SHAREPOINTDB]

Driver=/u01/ORACLEFMW/Oracle_BI1/bifoundation/odbc/lib/SEmsss23.so

Description=DataDirect 5.1 SQL Server Wire Protocol

Address=172.16.30.5,1433

AlternateServers=

AnsiNPW=Yes

ConnectionRetryCount=0

ConnectionRetryDelay=3

Database=WSS_Content

LoadBalancing=0

LogonID=angel 

Password=angel

QuoteID=No

ReportCodePageConversionErrors=0

3)      Import the SHAREPOINTDB(RPD DSN NAME) by selecting ODBC3.5 in Connectionpool and specifiy the username and  password .

4)      Note: WINDOWS RPD DSN and LINUX RPD DSN Should be same i.e like   SHAREPOINTDB must be in SHAREPOINTDB in odbc.ini file in Linux.
